Business owners, tradespeople, project managers, site supervisors, and construction workers

Required prerequisites:

  • Be able to speak and read French
  • Proficiency in low-voltage electrical installations and possession of a BR or BR(P) electrical certification

Course content:

Theoretical training

  • Identify the market and assess the potential for solar energy Understand the technology, performance, and characteristics of photovoltaic systems
  • Understanding how an inverter works and its role in a photovoltaic system
  • Understand the technical requirements for connecting a photovoltaic system to the grid based on the chosen connection method
  • Identify the risks and preventive measures for property and people related to the specific characteristics of a photovoltaic system

 

 

Practical and technological training

  • Identify the various components of a grid-connected photovoltaic system and how they are assembled – Understand manufacturers’ manuals.
  • Determine the expected output of the photovoltaic system, taking external factors into account.
  • Understand the various options for installing a photovoltaic system on a building.
  • Understand the economic aspects of a grid-connected photovoltaic system.
  • List the steps involved in installing a grid-connected photovoltaic system.
